JUAN MOREDA

I work closely with composers of my generation, shaping new music and pushing the boundaries of what the saxophone can express. From solo works to chamber music and ensemble projects, my path is about curiosity, collaboration, and expanding sound.

I’m a founding member of Argo Kollektiv, where I join forces with like-minded young musicians to explore and premiere new works. After my studies in saxophone and contemporary music at the MDW in Vienna and the PPCM program in Graz, I continue to move between classical tradition, free improvisation, and the most experimental expressions of today.

​

I’ve shared the stage with ensembles such as the RSO Wien, Tonkünstler Orchestra, Platypus, and Kontrapunkte. With my former saxophone quartet Psaiko, I travelled from Rio to Beijing, winning prizes along the way.

And when I’m not on stage, you’ll find me in Vienna teaching saxophone to students of all ages, sharing the passion that started it all.
